Happy 3rd Birthday to Boards by Kelly!

As I (Kelly) reflect on the past 3 years I'm really amazed at what all has happened. If you would of asked me if this would of ever took off, I would of told you that it would be a slim chance but I took a leap of faith and tried as I didn't have much to loose. I went to nursing school to be a RN and never thought I would eventually leave my nursing job to become a stay at home Mom then become an entrepreneur. So many people that God has put in my path have taught me so much and given me encouragement, advice, and wisdom. I can still remember the first event I was ever booked for and was so proud of the courage I had! This was the first board that someone had actually hired me to do! In that moment I felt so accomplished that I had a skill that someone wanted. It was for her son's birthday party and I didn't even set up any cheeses or meats-just a fruits and sweets board! Since then there have been many doors open and grateful for the ones that didn’t to be honest. I’ve grown, made mistakes, have incredible clients, learned a lot about entrepreneurship, and have had the privilege of eventually working along side my sister, Abby as the business has grown.  Abby has been with BBK for about 2 years now and I’m so thankful! God continues bless BBK and its really incredible to see where our “cheese and meat” adventures takes Abby and I! We have gotten to meet really amazing people, set up beautiful spreads, and had great memories along the way. Thanks for supporting your OKC cheese sisters. We appreciate your continued support, referrals, and cheering us on! Here's to year 4 and creating joy with charcuterie!
